Canadian Ecozones

A key concept in our Canadian Geography course is the concept of  Ecozones.  Ecozones are similar to the concept of Bioregions in your Science class, however an Ecozone differs in that we consider Humans and Human Uses to determine the boundaries of the ecozones.

Lets begin our understading of Ecozones by building four basic maps using Arcview.

Instructions
Produce a Soil map, a Vegetation map, a Climate map and a Landform map of Canada.  Place all four on a single layout (this will make a 1page note for future reference).

Your data is found in I: aa, J_Dietrich, !svlc (soil, vegetation, landform, climate).  Remember to save the entire folder to your G: drive (your personal space).

You need to change the projection of each map, label each region, have an appropriate title.  You do not need a legend or north arrow (North is understood to be at the top when using a familiar map of Canada).

Good Luck
